Walter Daszkowski CPA, PFS

Walter Daszkowski received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John’s University in 1994.  Walter began his career in public accounting at Grant Thornton LLP where he attained experience working with both Fortune 500 and mid size clientele.  Walter’s entrepreneurial spirit lead him to venture out and start his own accounting practice that has expanded to include 3 additional partners and 3 locations in the tri state area.  From the beginning, Walter understood that tax planning was intertwined with financial planning.  This understanding lead him to create the Lotus Financial Group LLC, where he provides financial guidance to individuals and business, with a focus on proper tax planning. 

In addition to his accounting and financial planning practices, Walter serves as the Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors of Empire State Bank.  He is also a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society & New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accounts, former Executive Board Member of the New York Society of Certified Public Accounts at the State Level, former President of the Staten Island/Brooklyn Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and Board Member of the Rumson Baseball Organization.

In keeping up with the ever evolving tax and investment industries, Walter is a frequent speaker at seminars throughout the tri-state area.
